This invite-only workshop connects Columbia and Capital One researchers to exchange ideas and plan collaborations in advance of the 2026-2027 CAIRFI Call for Proposals.
The purpose of the event is to connect directly with the 15+ Capital One researchers in attendance. They are eager to hear about current research at Columbia and to plan future funded research projects. We'll start at 12pm with lunch, and proceed to lightning talks with plenty of time for discussion and project ideation. Even if you are not giving a lightning talk, this is a great opportunity to hear about research projects and technical challenges at Capital One, and to learn about opportunities for funding.
Event goals:
- Share your research goals with colleagues and Capital One researchers
- Learn about Capital One's business and research goals
- Connect around potential research proposals for 2027 CAIRFI funding
